Introduction

In general the consensus of opinion throughout the Parish is favourable towards the Appraisal and we hope that the results will prove that the Committee's belief in this Appraisal was well founded.

This book is a compilation of all the statistics and comments made in the Appraisal returns, together with other items of historical interest about Over Kellet.  It is, of course, impossible to include all the comments made in this small volume, but all comments have been included in 7 copies of the full Appraisal results which will be kept as a complete record.

The format of this booklet basically follows the layout of the questionnaire, firstly with a summary of the comments made and secondly with an analysis of all the statistical information collected.
