My Gibson ancestors come from Over Kellet - my great great grandfather Robert left in the 1840s to move to Dalton and then Liverpool. One of my ancestors Richard Gibson was parish clerk. I am wondering if there are any GIbson gravestones in the churchyard or if anyone has transcribed the memorials? Thanks

my ancesters came from over kellett.they left in the 1800`s.according to parish records he was a innkeeper,is the pub in the village the original one?,and would your school have any records from that era?.my great grandfathers name was robert gibson holme,and his fathers name was thomas holme.I will be visiting over kellett on the 24th of october,and would be grateful for any info you may have many thanks doreen smith
